01No data collection
Birdsy does not collect, transmit or share personal data. The app sends nothing about you or your sightings to external servers, and Lokartno ApS has no access to your journal.
02On-device storage
All sightings, including species, places, dates, counts and your life list, are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes this data.
03No analytics or advertising
Birdsy contains no analytics tools, tracking SDKs or advertising networks. We do not build profiles and we do not follow your activity across apps or websites.
04App Store distribution
Birdsy is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect anonymised data such as downloads or crash reports under its own privacy policy, which Lokartno ApS does not control.
05Children
Birdsy is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. Because the app collects no personal data, no such data is ever held by us.
06Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published at this address.
